    Federal – Long Term Contract

    Location: Baltimore, MD

    • Provide hands-on engineering expertise to assist with designing a cloud hosting environment. Responsibilities include the design, creation, configuration, and delivery of cloud infrastructure environments.
    • Provide recommendations for Ansible configuration and deployment
    • Provide recommendations for CloudForms configuration and deployment to support the RHOSP environment
    • Evaluate on-premise cloud hosting requirements, including multitenancy, scale, high availability, disaster recovery, growth, and automation
    • Provide recommendations for network design and connectivity to support Red Hat Open Stack (RHOSP) deployments
    • Provide recommendations for RHOSP data and control plane segmentation to provide required performance, redundancy, and availability of services
    • Provide recommendations for developing user stories
    • Provide recommendations for Ceph configuration and deployment to support the RHOSP environment
    • Provide recommendations for Turbonomic configuration and deployment to support the RHOSP environment
    • Determine appropriate server hardware per environments
    • Collaborate with engineers to review upgrades to Openstack systems
    • Setup and enable monitoring tools to track system capacity
    • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems/software programs on various platforms
    • Provide professional engineering practices for the full software development lifecycle


    • 6+ years’ experience in Linux system administration
    • 4+ years’ experience with CloudForms
    • 4+ years’ experience with Ansible
    • 4+ years’ experience with RHEL Based Patch Management
    • 6+ years’ experience building and maintaining Cloud environments
    • 4+ years’ experience with OpenStack Services
