    LEAD NETWORK MANAGER

    Position Description

    • Serve as main POC for all technical deliverables and activities as Lead Technician
    • Report to the PM and on all technical aspects of tasks daily
    • Manage technical tasks and deliverables to ensure smooth, reliable operations of the CMS NOC with the support of the network operating technician
    • Develop and manage shift schedules and technical reporting requirements
    • Develop and manage SOP updates
    • Manage technical aspects of Task 3 - Operations; Task 4 - Maintenance; Task 5 - Records and Site Housekeeping and Task 1 - CMS Watch Center
    • Direct oversight of all network operations technicians

     

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Familiarity with SolarWinds, Splunk, CCNA – Security, Windows 8 (current operating system), HBSS Cisco Call Manager, VMWare
    • Bachelor's degree with over 10 years of experience in network operations as a network operations technician
    • 5 years of experience working at a Network Operations Center for a Federal agency/client
    • 3 years of experience as a senior/lead network operations technician

    Certifications

    • IAT Level II

    Highly desired:

    • CompTIA Security + Certification
    • Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
